Industrial piping system product overview

There are many types of industrial piping system products. Here are some common product types:

1. Classification by pipe material

plastic pipe

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipe:

PVC-U (hard polyvinyl chloride) pipes have good strength and rigidity, good chemical stability, and are suitable for building water supply and drainage, wire and cable protection casing and other fields. For example, it is often used in indoor cold water delivery systems of buildings. Its cost is relatively low, installation is relatively convenient, and connection methods such as gluing can be used.

PVC - C (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) pipes have high chloride content, good chemical stability and temperature resistance (to +800°C), and the size range is generally ISO/DIN d16 - d225; ANSI 1/2 '' - 12'', commonly used in chemical industry and other industrial piping systems that have certain requirements on temperature and chemical stability, such as chemical fluid transportation pipelines.

PP (polypropylene) pipe

Beta-(ß)-PP-H (homopolypropylene) pipes have unique uniformity of raw materials. The fine crystalline structure significantly improves the impact resistance. The high crystallinity ensures excellent chemical resistance. Compared with traditional (α)-PP-H, it has significant low-temperature impact strength and high pressure resistance (MRS10). Its applicable temperature range is from - 10°C to +95°C. It is used in chemical industry, food and medicine, etc. It is widely used in industrial piping systems, such as material conveying pipelines in food processing plants. Fusion welding connections can be made using IR-Plus® infrared butt welding technology.

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) pipes: Provide high purity (HP) piping systems for ultrapure water (UPW) applications, such as those used in special application scenarios such as ultrapure water stations in the semiconductor industry, which can meet extremely high purity requirements. High demand for industrial processes

2. Classification according to the components of the piping system

Pipe: It is the main part of the pipeline system and is responsible for transporting various fluid media, such as the pipes of various materials mentioned above.

Pipe fittings:

Elbow: Used to change the direction of the pipeline. It has different bending angles, such as 90° elbow, 45° elbow, etc. It is used where the pipeline layout needs to turn.

Tee: It can divide the pipeline from one direction into two directions, or merge the fluids in two directions into one direction. It is common in the parts where pipelines branch or merge.

Direct head: used to connect two pipes of the same diameter to ensure the straight extension of the pipe.

valve:

Globe valve: Mainly used to cut off or connect the medium flow in the pipeline. It is characterized by good regulating performance and can control the flow more accurately, but the fluid resistance is relatively large. It is often used in industrial pipelines with high flow control requirements. Systems, such as water treatment systems, accurately control the amount of chemicals added to the pipeline.

Ball valve: The ball rotates around the center line of the valve body to achieve the purpose of opening and closing. It has the advantages of simple structure, rapid opening and closing, and low fluid resistance. It is often used in pipeline systems such as oil and natural gas that need to quickly cut off or connect fluids.

Butterfly valve: The disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around its own axis in the valve body to achieve the opening or closing function. It is suitable for large-diameter pipelines and is widely used in water supply and drainage systems and ventilation systems. It has a simple structure, small size, Features such as light weight.

Measuring and control instruments:

Flowmeter: such as GF rotameter, with a flow range of 0.1 - 6 m/s (0.3 - 20 ft/s), a wide range ratio of 66:1, high resolution and anti-interference ability, and can be installed in DN15 - DN900 (½ - 36 in.) pipe sizes, used to measure the flow of fluids in pipes, and are widely used in pipeline systems in industrial water treatment, electroplating, energy and power industries to monitor and control fluid flow.

Pressure gauge: used to measure the pressure of the medium in the pipeline, provide pressure data reference for the safe operation of the pipeline system, ensure that the pipeline operates within the normal pressure range, and prevent safety accidents caused by too high or too low pressure.
