Swimming pool disinfection and dosing equipment
Swimming pools, as venues integrating health, entertainment, leisure, and even aesthetics, are ubiquitous in high-end hotels, entertainment venues, schools, and residential communities. During the pool's operating season, maintaining good water quality and meeting relevant health department regulations is crucial to swimmers' health. The long-term quality of the water depends on the design and investment in the water treatment system. The chemicals added to swimming pool water treatment systems are classified by their function as follows: coagulants, disinfectants, algaecides, and pH adjusters. For incoming pool water requiring purification, coagulants are pre-added to the pipes. As the water passes through the pipes and enters the circulating water pump, it mixes and reacts thoroughly with the coagulant, causing tiny suspended solids in the pool water to coagulate, forming "flocculation." This floc is then filtered and retained by a quartz sand filter (a composite material of high-molecular-weight ethylene and carbon steel). Afterward, the pool water passes through a heat exchanger, where it is heated and disinfectants are added to kill harmful bacteria such as coliforms, while maintaining the residual chlorine levels required by national water quality standards. If the water turns green, algaecides should be added, and the pH balance and residual chlorine levels should be automatically monitored. After the pool water meets national testing standards, it is refilled into the swimming pool through an adjustable water supply device installed on the pool wall.
Swimming pool dosing equipment uses online pH monitoring to ensure more effective chlorination of added bactericides; online ORP monitoring to effectively reflect and control the killing effect on microorganisms in the water; and online TDS monitoring to ensure accurate dosing of flocculants at the optimal time.
