The screw conveyor press is mainly composed of a feed hopper, a pressing screw, a spiral tube, a slag discharge pipe and a drive device. In addition, some are composed of three major parts: the conveyor body, the inlet and outlet and the drive device. Some models also include water receiving basin, drainage pipe, lining plate, cover plate, bracket and other components.
Slag treatment process
The slag scooped by the grid or the filtered residue enters the spiral tube from the feed hopper and is squeezed and dehydrated under the action of the pressing screw. The water squeezed out of the material passes through the filter screen and is collected in the water receiving basin and discharged from the drainage pipe. The material is compressed and discharged through the slag discharge pipe, thereby reducing the weight and volume of debris such as slag.
Working characteristics of different types of screw conveyor presses
The conveying screw pushes the material entering the material box to the pressing screw. The pitch of the pressing screw is reduced and the shaft diameter is increased. Under the action of the resistance of the screen wall and the cone, the liquid (juice) contained in the material is squeezed out. The squeezed liquid flows out of the screen hole and is concentrated in the juice receiving bucket. The pomace after squeezing is discharged out of the machine between the end of the screen cylinder and the cone. A spring is installed at the rear of the cone. By adjusting the preload and position of the spring, the size of the discharge resistance and the size of the slag outlet can be changed to adjust the degree of wetness of the squeeze.
It is mainly suitable for the treatment of screen residues in urban sewage treatment plants, sewage pretreatment devices in residential areas, municipal rain/sewage pumping stations and water plants. It is an integrated device for conveying and squeezing screen residues in the sewage treatment process. It can be directly installed after the interception and sludge dewatering equipment, and manufactured into a sealed structure for conveying and squeezing, which plays the role of gathering and improving the environment, reducing the amount of residue, etc., which is convenient for subsequent treatment.
It can also be used in environmental protection, papermaking, chemical, food, medicine, beverage and other industries to transport materials with strong viscosity, paste-like viscous materials (such as chemical raw materials, waste paper pulp, malt, sludge, etc.) and easily entangled materials (such as domestic garbage).
