Spherical suspended fillers, also known as porous rotating spherical suspended fillers, are the latest series of products developed from a variety of fillers used in domestic sewage treatment and biofilm treatment technology. In the biochemical treatment of sewage, it has a full three-dimensional structure, a large specific surface area, can be directly placed without fixation, is easy to form a membrane, and does not clog.

MBBR process adds a certain amount of suspended filler (biofilm carrier) to the reactor. Different microorganisms are concentrated on the biofilm on the protected area of the filler. Some anaerobic or facultative aerobic bacteria grow inside the carrier, and aerobic bacteria grow outside. Each carrier is a microreactor. Through aeration in the aerobic treatment system or stirring in the anaerobic treatment system, the wastewater is ensured to have extensive and frequent contact with the biofilm on the biological carrier, which improves the mass transfer efficiency of the system, strengthens the renewal of biofilm microorganisms, and maintains and improves the activity of the biofilm. The suspended carrier and the original activated sludge form a more complex composite ecosystem. The biofilm attached to the carrier greatly increases the active biomass in the reactor. Under the joint action of the suspended activated sludge and the biofilm on the surface of the suspended carrier, the system's ability to resist shock load is greatly improved, achieving the ability to improve the efficiency of sewage treatment and stabilize the effluent water quality.
4.1.The high-efficiency biological carrier MBBR suspended filler is made of high-quality high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material. It will not degrade after being immersed in wastewater for a long time, nor will it be toxic to microorganisms.

Ball ring packing is a new type of packing, which is developed to improve some of the main shortcomings of Raschig ring. It is formed by opening eight layers of rectangular small windows on the wall of ordinary Raschig ring. The small window blades overlap at the center of the ring, and the upper and lower layers of windows overlap each other. The main difference between it and Raschig ring packing is that there are rectangular window holes on the side wall, and the window blades of the window holes are bent into the center of the ring. Due to the holes in the ring wall, the distribution performance of gas and liquid is greatly improved compared with Raschig ring, especially the inner surface area of the ring can be fully utilized.
5.1.Due to the openings in the ring wall, the utilization rate of the inner space and surface of the ball ring is greatly improved, the air flow resistance is small, and the liquid is evenly distributed.
5.2.It has the advantages of large flux, small resistance, high separation efficiency and great operational flexibility. Under the same pressure reduction, the processing capacity can be more than 50% larger than that of Raschig ring.
5.3.Compared with Raschig rings, this type of filler has the characteristics of large production capacity, strong resistance, and great operational flexibility. Under normal circumstances, the processing capacity can be 50%-100% greater than that of Raschig rings at the same pressure drop, and the pressure drop can be 50%-70% smaller than that of Raschig rings at the same processing. The gas flux of ball rings can be increased by more than 50%, and the efficiency of mass transfer equipment can be improved by about 30%.
