In addition to being used to transport the screen residue of the medium and fine screen decontamination machine in the sewage treatment plant, the shaftless screw conveyor can also be used to transport dewatered water cakes and other objects in the sludge dewatering room. It is mainly composed of a drive device, a shaftless spiral blade, a U-shaped groove, a hemp-resistant liner, a cover plate, a frame, etc. Compared with the screw conveyor, a replaceable liner is installed in the U-shaped groove, the structure is simple, the material is input from the inlet, and the material is output from the outlet after being pushed by the screw. The entire transmission process can be carried out in a sealed groove, which reduces noise and odor emissions. Since there are no high-speed running parts in the equipment, the spiral blades have low wear, low energy consumption, and almost no maintenance is required.

The pitch and diameter of the spiral blades are determined by the material being transported. Because there is no central shaft, the conveying space can be larger, and some faults caused by the filaments being wound around the central shaft can be avoided. The blades are surrounded by quick-install wear-resistant liners to reduce wear. The material enters from the feed port and is pushed to the discharge port by the spiral blades. The shaftless screw conveyor can be installed horizontally or tilted, but the tilt installation angle is generally ≤30°.
