principle

The vortex-type dissolved air flotation system consists of an aerator, a flotation tank, a sludge scraper, and an electrical control box. The aerator generates bubbles by drawing in air through a high-speed rotating motor, and then distributes these microbubbles evenly into the wastewater through a stainless steel diffuser impeller.

Aerators utilize the high-speed rotation of a drive impeller to create centrifugal force, which generates negative pressure around it, drawing air or other gases above the water surface into the aeration port and then releasing them from the aeration outlet submerged in water. When bubbles are generated in the small holes of the aeration impeller, the high-speed rotating impeller cuts the bubbles into tiny bubble fragments with a diameter of 30-100 micrometers.

After the flocculated wastewater enters the flotation tank, it mixes with these microbubbles, bringing the suspended solids to the surface. During the bubbling process, the microbubbles attach to the suspended solids. Once they reach the surface, the suspended solids are supported by these bubbles and held on the surface. The scum formed on the surface is then scraped into the scum trough by a scum scraper.
